Recently...

It's been a while since I've updated! I got a teaching job!!!! I was interviewed and hired the day before school started, so I had a sub the first day of school and then I began teaching on Tuesday, the 1st. It has been a crazy week and a half. I really enjoyed the three-day weekend, to say the least!

As for running, I am still getting some runs in. Saturday I slept in and didn't run with the Team but I ran with a friend down by the Columbia River. I ran about 8 miles, and will run 10 miles this Saturday. I'm hoping to make the Team practice this time! Hopefully the weather holds up so it won't be too miserable, but at least the rain keeps me cool while I run.

Now that I have a job, fundraising is really on hold! I am thankful for everyone who has contributed to my cause...curing blood cancers! I have met our honored teammate, Ramsey, and it is inspiring to watch him go through treatments and heal...gives me another reason to run!
